Many thanks for that.I have the Goalscorers as John Charles 5 minutes for Juventus and Arsenal's 3 Goals as John Barnwell 30,Roy Goulden 53 and Jimmy Bloomfield 76.So besides Danny Clapton there was at least 1 other substitute Roy Goulden.
I can remember Jim Standen warming up in Goal and Jack Kelsey appearing just before the Match was due to start.
Kind Regards
Geoff

GeoffAccording to "The Times" on Thursday 27 November 1958, the teams were as follows:Arsenal - Kelsey; Wills, Evans; Docherty, Dodgin, Petts; Nutt, Barnwell, Henderson, Bloomfield, Havertey.Juventus - Vavassori; Corradi, Garzena; Emoli, Castano, Fuin; Stacchini, Boniperti, Charles, Nicole, Stivonello.Referee - A.E.Ellis (Halifax)Kelsey was rushed from Wales' 2:2 draw with England (where he played in goal) at Villa Park, so he could play in the match that evening. Also, Clapton, who had played for England earlier, came on after 37 minutes but there was no mention of who he replaced. No mention of the captain either I'm afraid.RegardsSteve
