I can't identify the team but I have seen that stripey background
before. I have seen a pre-WW2 Tranmere team photo very similar so would
suggest it's a Div 3 North or South team in the 1930s. I've always
understood that there was a photo studio in the West Midlands, from
memory in or near Walsall who were in both sections of Div 3 at various
times, and they used to take photos like these of visiting teams -
there was a similar situation at Southport post WW2 where there was
always the same house in the background. If you have a hunch about the
team in this photo then check if it ever played at Walsall at the time.

Hoping this isn't a complete red herring!
