The rates for residents are $25/hour. If we were a tax-exempt
organization, we could have $12/hour.

Technically, the city would be justified in requiring us to reserve the
space, since, despite the "casual" in our title, we are an organized
group: with Web site and having met regularly for three years now. But
I'm not sure we have the organizational wherewithal to pay $50 each
weekend ($2,600/year). We would need to have 20 regular members
contribute $130 per year, or 25 members contribute $104, and so on.
I think we're all right at Iverson unless locals object -- there have
been queries from some on the block concerned that our cleats would
harm the new grass. Also, our presence might be dissuading locals from
bringing their kids to the small playset on Saturday mornings.
(Personally, I don't think we are that intimidating a collective.)
If kickballers and Ultimate players discover Iverson, of course, once
again we would be displaced.
