i too really enjoyed our game on saturday. another small but delightful
group. and, man, did that pizza taste good afterwards or what?
thank you john, russ, adam, cathy, and george for coming out.
all: i'll probably try to organize one more match in the next two,
three weeks before i leave town for good. at which time i'll give my
game ball to some deserving candidate who will then be charged with the
responsibility of keeping the list going and organizing the occasional
match. looking at the weekend of december 18th/19th (depending on
work), hope to see as many of you, long-time list members and newbies
alike, there as possible.
(mostly) adam: feel free to post or link, if you so desire, info about
your alpharetta lunchtime game.
(mostly) john: our group photo came out pretty nice. (check out the
'photos' section of the group homepage.) we look like much more vicious
soccer denizens than we actually are. very good.
i think the movie is a great idea. i fully intend to go. i'll
probably be biking over from the decatur area after work on the 11th.
anyone who wishes to join me, please chime in. i'll also add a reminder
to our calendar.
all: i've added a link to john's awesome soccer/humanist
website/magazine. who knew that one of my long-time contacts and one of
our group members was responsible for such an amazing resource? check
it out. www.theglobalgame.com
yours,
william
