hey folks, i've decided to unilaterally cancel soccer for this
saturday (10/9). on the poll, we are running well below the eight
affirmatives i would like to see as a minimum. we only have four
"yes" votes (three on the poll, and one off), and three total
"maybes". as i've found "maybes" generally turn into "yes" only about
a third of the time, this would leave us with just five players. too
small!

this weekend a big part of our normal base is going to be in newnan,
ga for the BRAG bikefest. this is a good event, and if you bike, i
encourage you to check it out at www.brag.org.

i'd appreciate it if ALL the people who have voted "maybe" or "yes" or
indicated so off-list, would e-mail me personally to let me know you
got this message. it would ease my conscience that no one is showing
up there expecting a game.

as soon as i have another saturday or sunday off i'll attempt to
organize another game. as always, anyone should feel free to use this
forum to organize their own games in the atlanta area.
