we've had quite a few new members in the past couple weeks, which is
great. some of this is at my prodding, some on their own
initiative. now we are proudly over fifty strong.

one thing to be cautious of, however, if you are new to yahoo
groups....is the "marketing preferences". the default setting for
new members is lots of junk. so, if you haven't done so already,
you might go into your "account info" from our homepage, then click
on "marketing preferences" and uncheck all the stuff you don't want.

aside: i'm looking at the next game i'm organizing for saturday,
september 18th. i hope to see many of you there, so tentatively
pencil that in.
