Alan,
I sent you an email off list with directions. In addition by the time you sent the email requesting where the game was being played I had already sent an email to the group with directions that you could have very easily read and understood. I am calling you out on this. You failed to take initiative here by just reading the emails sent to you personally and on the list and for that you should take responsibility. William, who has taken all of the intitaive in forming games, bringing people together, forming the list, and has only in default taken a position of leadership because nobody else wants to sent you a public apology to the list- yet you continue to press on without acknowledging your own failures.
And now that I'm on a rant- i want you to know that I do not appreciate your listing of all of the events/excuses in your life that have prevented you from playing soccer with us.
1. because it gives me the impression that you believe the rest of us do not have lives of our own that are not contingent on these very sporadic soccer games.
2. because honestly, I don't care if you come to play. I like it when new people come, and certainly when there are more people, but never have I left one of these semi pick-up games without having had a lot of fun and a pretty decent work-out- regardless of how many people were there.
3. It's fun- it's one of the care-free things in my life and now you continue to make an issue because you fail to take initiative and i don't think i'd like very much to be around you because you are stressful.
and
4. You haven't been a part of this group for a while- you are just someone on a public list who complains every chance he gets.
There will be no martyrs in soccer atlanta yahoo groups not you or anyone else. It's a soccer game- one with only rules regulating aggressive behavior, a game when the next goal only means halftime or the end- no recorded points, no trophies, no glory, just a good time.
Katie
usually much more pleasant than this.

id just like to let you know that ive been apart of
this group for a while, and i havent been able to
attend a lot of these games either because i have to
play my own league games or i had another event to
attend. as of now im in college and im playing soccer
there as well. i just happen to be in town and now
one would tell me where the game was being played at
until hours after it was played and if someone did say
i couldnt reach my email, and im sorry. there wasnt a
need to answer like that william
