hey folks, sorry about my multiply poor judgement in starting what
has potential to be a list gobbling flame war. i didn't mean to be
rude. i just was frustrated by the failure to read and by the
complaints from someone who hasn't bothered to organize any games. i
hope i didn't hurt anyone's feelings nor turn anyone off from playing
soccer.

this is an informal listserv. it was started to help people meet
each other and organize games, but it relies on your initiative to do
so.

six of us met at candler park today and played for an exhausting
almost two hours. the weather was great, if hot. and if i can speak
for the others, we lacked both soccer skill and physical
conditioning. but it was a lot of fun. thank you russ, greg, katie,
zenzi, and jeff for coming on out. thank you also to designated
cheerperson lisa. afterwards we went to fellini's for pizza.
hopefully we'll see a couple more new folks the next time we do this.
