WHO: BAYLANDS FRONTRUNNERS
A non-profit walking and running club for lesbians, gays, bisexuals,
and their friends. Host to weekly and monthly walks/runs for the
Peninsula and South Bay Area that are free, noncompetitive and open
to all.

WHAT: THE 2002 RUN FOR THE COMMUNITY
The BayLands Frontrunnersı annual charity run. Events include a TAC
(Track and Field Certified) 5K run, 5K walk, and 10K run. Awards are
given to the first three finishers in each age group. Raffle prizes
include a trip for two to Maui (must be present to win).

and lesbians in coping with an adverse society.

Support Network for Battered Women (www.snbw.org ), a non-profit
organization dedicated to eliminating domestic violence by providing
crisis intervention, shelter, legal services, counseling and
community education for victims of domestic violence.

Free at Last (www.freeatlast.org), a non-profit agency serving an
ethnically mixed population of adults, teens and low-income families
in East Palo Alto and surrounding communities by providing education,
drug and alcohol abuse counseling; legal and health care services;
and affordable housing for individuals in critical life transitions.
