the race will start and finish at the top of mt.
wilson like last year (in previous years it started at
chantry flats). it will be held on jan 27 and i think we
start at 6am or 7am. it is at least 6000 feet of
elevation change with the highest point being mt. wilson at
about 6,000 and change. times are slower than a road
50km but still pretty quick since the whole trail is
runable (if you can run up steep hills that is). i like
the race. it is on a good chunk of the ac100 course
and it reminds me of that race. i know the trails by
heart (i have names for each turn in the trail and
significant rocks, trees and roots). check the southern ca
