Matt (and all)<br>1st, the Baldy group outing
was/is scheduled for the 17th, not the 10th. My mistake.
The plan is to go up Bear Springs Trail, over to the
notch (for food & H20, then back to Ice House Canyon
via the 3 T's trail.<br><br>HV turned out to be a
good day. The weather was ideal, around 80 I would
guess with a slight breeze to keep it from getting too
hot. The course was marked real well until about the
last 3 miles or so when I saw NO ribbons and went off
course a bit and lost about 10 minutes or so. Plus the
course has a new start which now makes it a 33 miler. My
time was 7:38. Not quick but I was steady all day and
felt good. I had no problems with the altitude unless
I started pushing it too hard. Same problem
everyone had I think. Some of the aid stations were not
stocked very well and there was really nothing at the
finish. I'll have to think twice before doing this run
again in spite of the beautiful course.<br><br>Wish
