Hello everyone!
The countdown to Dressage in the Sierra is on. Last month Beth sent out an email asking for volunteers and folks to help out for various jobs related to the show and the membership has really come through. Thank you so much to all of you who've volunteered. I would also like to commend my fellow board members for their hard work on this. We have a great team and a super team leader ~ Thanks to you too for all your time and efforts to see this through! This show, more than any of the others, requires a tremendous amount of work and everyone has really pulled through. What a fantastic membership we have!
We do still need sponsors for the show and would like to begin the process of collecting funds from folks who have expressed an interest in sponsoring. We are hoping to make this show as special as it always has been. We're planning a hospitality tent where riders can find breakfast goodies and treats and a Saturday afternoon wine and beer tasting with Hors D'oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks. The wine and beer tasting is $5.00 per person and will get you your very own wine glass with the Dressage in the Sierra logo on it.
Dont forget, there will be a Junior Membership Benefit Tack Sale at the show. We are still collecting items for the tack sale. If you have items you would like to donate, please contact Cindy at cindyhnv@... or call Vicki at 849-0105. The chapter will also be selling notecards created using original artwork from our junior members. Be sure to look for these at the show and help raise funds for the juniors!
Speaking of the notecards... Juniors, time is running out! Please submit your artwork to Cindy or Vicki as soon as possible. Everyone is looking forward to seeing what you have done so be sure to be included!
