We're sorry about sending out so many emails but there's some important information we need to get to members ASAP!

 

First, please don't forget that we are going to be doing an Inventory of chapter items on February 4th at Avalon Friesians and we are looking for Junior Members to help out. Cindy Hoonhout is coordinating the project. If you can help out, please contact Cindy at  cindyhnv@...

 

Second, the Awards Dinner will be held Friday, March 10th at 6:30pm at the Tamarack Junction. There will be "walking appetizers" prepared and served by Tamarack as well as a no-host bar. Attendance is $15 per person and friends and family are welcome. If you would like to attend, mail payment along with names of participants to SNC-CDS/Awards Dinner, PO Box 2637, Carson City, NV 89702. Please make checks payable to SNC-CDS. RSVP deadline is March 1st. Please RSVP to Lesley at lgrove@... . *Payments will also be accepted at the February Chapter Meeting/Pilates Class.

 

We will be having a Silent Auction again this year along with our Awards Dinner and we are looking for donations. In past years, members have donated all sorts of wonderful items and the Silent Auction has been one of the highlights of the evening. Money collected from the event goes to our chapter.

 

Some of the donated items included lesson gift certificates, stable supplies such as pitchforks/muck bucket/feed buckets, wraps, tack, gift items, vacation baskets, spa certificates, art, kitchen and household items, sunglasses, books/tapes and Skagen watches. Finally, the Board would like to send out a GET WELL SOON to Erica Ward who broke her leg skiing a couple of weeks ago. Erica has been an enormous asset to the chapter, volunteering along with Susan and Margo Ward at virtually every show last year and at numerous shows in the preceding years. Hurry and get better Erica!
