| Notes: | Ride: NAHAAM (Not As Hard As The Assault On Mt Mitchell) 21th Edition When : Sat. May 9, 8:00 am or 10:30 am Start: Sugarland Visitor Center parking lot, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Distance: Each out and back option is 40 miles. Total 80 for complete tour. Description: Unsupported ride that leaves from the Sugarland Visitor Center to Townsend and back and then to Clingmans Dome and back. Option #1. Leave Sugarland at 8:00 am to Townsend and back, refuel at Sugarlands and continue up to Clingmans Dome and back. 80 miles total. Option #2 Leave Sugarlands at 10:30 (will join up with first group) to climb up to Clingmans Dome and back. 40 miles total. Sugarland Visitor Center and back slightly hilly and fast paced.
