Absolutley. I know A Patroller there...Kevin McDonald. Firefighter
from WOrcester, lives in my town..used to (may still) be the group
coordinator for the Douglas school group.
He claims Wa runs out of skiers before the run out of snow.
It's tough when the snow is gone from the back yard...and the winter
wreckage is strewn all over the yard. Priorities (errrahhh...my
wife's priorities) change from me skiing to me doing work in the yard.
I heard a comment today that the Farmer's Almanac predicts a brutal
winter...cold, 9 major storms...what dreams are made of! :>
True it's just the FA....but for some reason I feel better that it
says "Brutal Winter" vs rainy winter. Both are valid (from the FA
anyway). I'm busy getting into shape and enjoying Fall in NE.
Winter during the winter...all other seasons in their time.
See you soon. Going to the Columbus Day Sale? Not sure if I'll be
home or in NH. If home, and it's a great day...hard to resist a "Sky
Ride" *love that name*

Sent in my availability a couple days ago. Pro-night/kickoff meeting
is next Tuesday but then nothing really happens until openning. Got
do two clinics between T'day and Xmas. Might get pulled for one or
two lessons before Xmas, tops. Then all heck breaks loose the day
after Xmas.
I could never understand why skiers forget about Wa until 12/26 and
then after about 2/28. Some of the best skiing is the week before
Xmas and first few weeks of March.
Hey, just posted on the RSN page. You have to post via Barb M's link.
http://www.rsn.com/community/wach/forum_threads.html?forum_id=79
You can view from Wa/Chat...but to post you have to go to the new RSN
site. Seems strange that RSN wouldn't update Wa's site so you can post.
Maybe RSN didn't have the time?! *LMAO*
Apparently "Sky" is a very popular name with members of Yahoo! I tried
all variations and add-ons...finally got Sky_521_Wa.
At least I'm in.
Hola L2T! It's almost that time. I'm amped up. Running for tha past
three weeks...getting more serious about it lately (now that I'm 50).
Looking forward to another quality season @ Wa...and beyond.
Thanks for setting this room up pal. Could be RSN's final year. THe
new RSN forum is underwhelming. I can't believe it took tham this long
to come up with..."that".
When doi you start up with the instructor corps @ Wa?...Late Oct?
I don't suppose there's any easy way to get the word out to the people
that used to use the RSN forum.
Just checked the Wa web site sez only two more days to get the best
prices on Century passes.
Just sprung for a C-Pass for my wife, and new boots, and new boots and
a helmet for my kid. Xmas comes early when you're a skier.

PS
Only 73 days to opening day (weather permitting).
Looks like the RSN chat group is dead. I created this one so
Wachusett skiers will have a place to chat. Not sure how to get the
word out to the people that used the old forum.
Anyway, Wa skiers, if your are out there say hi.

Only 79 days til opening day.
