Some of the best skiing is the week before
> Xmas and first few weeks of March.
Absolutley. I know A Patroller there...Kevin McDonald. Firefighter
from WOrcester, lives in my town..used to (may still) be the group
coordinator for the Douglas school group.
He claims Wa runs out of skiers before the run out of snow.
It's tough when the snow is gone from the back yard...and the winter
wreckage is strewn all over the yard. Priorities (errrahhh...my
wife's priorities) change from me skiing to me doing work in the yard.
I heard a comment today that the Farmer's Almanac predicts a brutal
winter...cold, 9 major storms...what dreams are made of! :>
True it's just the FA....but for some reason I feel better that it
says "Brutal Winter" vs rainy winter. Both are valid (from the FA
anyway). I'm busy getting into shape and enjoying Fall in NE.
Winter during the winter...all other seasons in their time.
See you soon. Going to the Columbus Day Sale? Not sure if I'll be
home or in NH. If home, and it's a great day...hard to resist a "Sky
Ride" *love that name*
