Get ready for a great summer with SkiBudz, Chicago's gay ski and snowboard club. Just because the snow has melted doesn't mean that we don't still have a great time!

 

This summer we are repeating some of our popular events from last summer such as the Camp Buckwood camping trips and monthly "First Sunday" Sofo socials we are adding a canoe trip and Saugatuk weekend.

This informal event is a great way to meet some great people while enjoying drinks. These monthly events were very popular last summer.

 

These socials will be held on the first Sunday of each month, excluding holiday weekends when the social will be held the following Sunday.

June 14-15 Indiana Canoe Trip

 

Join us for our first annual canoe weekend at Clements Canoes Outdoor Center in beautiful Western Indiana http://www.clementscanoes.com/ . After a day of on the water we are going to head to Indianapolis (about a hour away) to check out the nightlife and a group dinner. We are going to stay at a hotel in Downtown Indianapolis near the Downtown mall, restaurants and walking distance to a few of the gay bars.

July 25-27 Camp Buckwood Camping Weekend

 

Our Camp Buckwood trip was so popular last year we are going to head back to Southern Indiana for another great camping weekend.

 

Camp Buckwood is all male campground on 72 acres in beautiful Brown County Indiana. The campground features a heated pool, two lakes, hiking trails, sand volleyball and drive-in style movies at night. For those of you would don't want to "rough it" the campground has a lodge / bunkhouse with great home cooked food.

Due to popular demand SkiBudz will be heading to Michigan for a weekend of camping at Campit, Michigan's gay and lesbian campground. Activities will include a night at the Dunes, the popular resort / bar and a BBQ at Paul / Dale's two SkiBudz participants that have a home in the Saugatuck area.
