Greetings Budz!

At the Planning meeting on Monday, we agreed on the following
arrangements for Tahoe. The dates were firmed at March 13-18. We'll
be flying into Reno on Thursday March 13th, ski 4 days, and return on
the Tuesday the 18th. We'll rent vans in Reno, which we will use to
get to the various ski areas from the hotel.

Everything else remains to be resolved. I'm hoping to find the Tahoe
equivalent of the Jackson Hole central reservations to see about
cheap airfares, etc. We will be using South Tahoe as our base, and
ski at least two days at Heavenly.

As for accommodations, we had discussed staying in condos, but
decided that the lure of cheap hotels atop the casinos in Nevada was
too strong to resist. They also allow for better evening
entertainment options, including a gay bar. (Whoopee!!) Eric is
researching a decent suite-style hotel with kitchenettes, which is
within close distance to the Heavenly Gondola on the Nevada side of
the border. This may allow us to save a bit on meals, although
casinos typically have very reasonable buffets.

I am hoping to firm up all of this within the next couple of weeks.
