I wanted to let everyone know that the Leadership Team met last night and made several significant, exciting plans for Ski Budz. These were a few of the plans that were made last night:

 

Tentative 07-08 Western Trip Schedule:

Jackson Hole, WY January

Utah February

Lake Tahoe March

 

The Granite Peak Ski Weekend will be held again in January.

 

Other Midwest "day trips" will be announced, possible locations include Devils Head / Cascade and a possible Michigan U.P. Trip to Mt. Bohemia / Porcupine Mountain or Indianhead.

 

Members of the Leadership Group will take ownership to help organize each trip.

 

Details about the upcoming trips will be announced as the upcoming ski season approaches. 

 

The new "Ski Budz" web site is tentatively scheduled to be up and running on May 1st. I will be meeting this weekend with Vincent who has been very kind to develop the new site. The new site will have a professional appearance, more photos and new features. There will also be a new domain / web address for the web site preferably www.skibudz.org or www.skibudzchicago.org .

 

All heads of committees and Leadership Team members will be offered skibudz.org e-mail addresses.

 

We discussed an update from Mike who is working with Kent to organize several upcoming social events including a monthly bar night. They are also looking to organize some events for the Pride Parade. Please keep an eye on your e-mail for more Information.
