schedule for the 2006 Philadelphia Freedom Skate. Because of a
hotel scheduling conflict, we've had to move the event one week
earlier than the usual weekend. This year's event will be

didn't have any other good options.


Also – it's very likely that this will be the final Freedom
Skate.
While our attendance is still respectable, it has declined in
recent
years. That, combined with several of the key organizers
"moving
on" to other life activities, makes it unlikely that we could
continue to produce an event that continued the high standards of
the past, and we wanted to end our ten years of activity on a
"high
note". This will also open up the opportunities in 2007 for
the New
York, Boston and DC events by removing a competing event.


Hopefully we'll see many of you in Philadelphia that weekend.
