Alice,
This is an interesting dilemma.
Here are the major points:
1. Wet streets are no skate days... but as you know, there may be rain in
Henrietta and sun in Greece, so it is a hard call. Kind of the telepathy
with the other skaters
2. Forecast of rain, is not a guarantee of rain, and a couple of quick
checks of radar at various web sites can help here... as many times we have
skated and beat the rain, and now and then we all get wet, but a quick
cleaning of the skates, and you live to skate another day
So, bottom line, there is no cut and dry answer, but just use common sense
and you might miss a skate, or you could be the only one there.
Sorry but there is no way to get the word out fast enough to let people
know definitely yea or nay in a timely manner. Just blame mother nature :-)
