MURPHY'S LAW has reared its ugly head...

Right after we sent out the information on discount hotels for the Liberty
Skate Weekend, we received notice from the Helmsley Windsor Hotel that due to
an administrative oversight, they won't be ready to accept the discounted
reservations until this coming Monday, May 13th.

So, if any of you have called and been met with an unreceptive reservationist,
DON'T be discouraged if you still want to stay there (it is a nice place).
Starting this Monday, just call the Helmsley Windsor Hotel's reservation
number at (212)265-2100 (and NOT the 1-800 general reservation number) and ask
for VERONICA, who is the reservation manager. We have been assured that she
will be aware of the discount arrangement.
