Hello all,

I just found out about RISC a month or so ago from your website but I
didn't find the time to join an outing until yesterday. Thanks Tina
and Bob for not killing me my first time out! I had an amazing time.
This is just what I've been looking for, people to skate with to get
me out of the house! :) Most of my friends don't skate that well, so
no pushing to get exercise when I'm with them.

So anyway. I'm an engineering student at RIT. I live off of Park
Ave and am working at Seabreeze this summer.

I've been skating for ages... I don't do any tricks or anything that
requires my feet to leave the ground.. but I admire people who can.
I think it'd be fun to be able to.. but I'd rather not get to know
the pavement as well as I'd have to to learn how.

Until yesterday I'd never skated in the city before. I've gone along
the canal.. I know where that icecream place in Pittsford is :)
That's always a nice skate.. but the city and horses were pretty
fascinating.

Well time to get back to work! I look forward to meeting more of you
in the near future. If anyone's up for skating during the rest of
the week please let me know.
