Hey Greg,
Freedom is fantastic! Skating with five to twelve hundred people all excited
about skating, along miles of urban scenery and smooth thoroughfares of top
grade asphalt, can hardly be imagined. Try searching our archives about this
time last year for other words what to expect in Philly, and for Orlando's
photos.
Last year fees got us an all you can eat picnic; three meal vouchers of
$5 each, which if applied well, get you two breakfasts and a mid-skate dinner
Friday evening; Freedom skate t-shirt; a goodie bag; and miles and miles of
National-Skate-Patrol patrolled lanes free of traffic. We are eighth,
wait-listed by Freedom for a room at the Sheraton University, where all
skates begin and end, and the hub of all organized activity. Should the last
days fail to yield a room, you can reserve space at the Chamounix Hostel,
site of our Saturday picnic: http://philahostel.org.
Four from Rochester, in addition to five to ten from Syracuse, plan to
go.
Join us to skate Onondaga Lake Park Trail and Parkway Sunday if you can. We
meet with skaters from Syracuse. Almost a thousand cyclists, joggers, walkers,
and skaters ought be there too. You may find less hassle meeting us at
Onondaga 9:45a Sunday morning. Just click on the active map from my past
messages in our archives and enter your origin:

Join us Wednesday Downtown too if you can, although thundershowers may rain
us out.
(I almost dismissed your message, thinking it was spam, until I noticed our
[RISC] tag. Try setting your name so it also appears with your address in
the From header, as in my To header above.)
