October 1st is the Baker Lake 50k. I believe you are signed up to run, as well
as myself, and a few other Skagit Runners. We should have an evening party one
the week before the Marathon. How about Wednesday after the run? We can stuff
packets during the party. Drinkin Beer, porking out on food, and stuffing
packets, now that is a party!

Subject: Saturday Potluck...Postponed!


Greetings all! I refuse to use the word cancelled because that means we ain't
gonna do it. No, I prefer postponed until later.

Unfortunately, some of us need to attend a funeral Saturday while others have
a wedding to attend not to mention family vacations. It was a fantastic idea
and very nice of Catherine Davis to offer her Samish Island home but this
Saturday just turned out to be a very hectic day.

Many Skagit Runners will be at the Marches Point Run in Anacortes so fill up
on pop and hot dogs and take home the hardware.

In the meantime, lets do have a get together sometime soon and not wait until
the 3rd Annual Skagit Runners Apple Cup party in November. That is too far off.
Maybe an Oktoberfest party on Oct 1st.....................
