I am in the process of ordering shirts from Brooks. In prior discussions the
group decided to purchase long sleeve shirts for all participants of the
Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. We decided to get the red podium shirt. This is the
same type of Brooks shirt we had two years ago ( we will have to make sure the
printer doesn't shrink the shirts this time! ). Brooks is selling us the shirts
for $7.20 each. I think we should order 450 shirts???? At the last meeting
everyone decided that putting the logo on the right arm sleeve would look best.
I am going to ask Linda to incorporate our marathon logo with the Brooks logo (
this gets us the lowest price on shirts). I need to get your opinion on
quantities of shirt sizes to order.
As of this date we have 58 entrants and here is what they ordered:
11 Small 18%
13 Medium 22%
22 Large 39%
12 X-Large 21%
58 Total
Should we order the shirts in these quantities, or increase the percentages of
the larger sizes. I personally would rather have a shirt that is a little large
than get one that is too small. Plus if we have a few left over it would be
better to have the larger sizes left over for club purposes.
Thanks for any input Terry
