A few weeks ago I asked the membership if they would be interested in purchasing
a running jacket that sports the Skagit Runners Logo (Embroidered) on it. I
received quite a bit of interest from the membership. Since then I have received
more information. The jacket is listed for $55 on the Brooks website. Kevin Ryan
(FootwoRx) agreed to give it to us for $40 each. The Skagit Runners Board agreed
to pay for the embroidering, shipping and handling. So the out of pocket expense
for club members will be $40. I think we should allow members to get any color
they want, as long as the color is still available. So members should go back to
the website (http://www.brooksrunning.com/prod.php?k=26474&p=BSIMJ535) and pick
two colors that they like, listing their favorite as #1, and their second
favorite as #2, also tell me the size you prefer. I will try to get everyone the
#1 color they choose. The club is going to purchase 6 loaners in the color shown
(Crimson). This will also be the color of this years marathon shirts. I will
order the marathon shirts at the same time as the jackets. So I would like to
get confirmation on color and size for all the members listed below, follow the
email below the picture of the jacket! So far we have 19 jackets to order. I
will place the order next Monday, so get your order in if you want one.
