I was very happy with the way it all turned out. This club just never seems to
amaze me. Everyone jumped in and helped out where needed. Lana really needs a
huge pat on the back. She really took the Bull by the horns to make sure we had
all the final organizing done. Kevin you need to give her a RAISE! (I got home
from N. Carolina last night at midnight from a week long training class) We were
very shy on volunteers on the course, but thanks to Steve and Sherrie's great
job on marking the course, no one lost their way!. I think the new 2 mile course
was much better then prior years. I was also told by one of the runners their
GPS measured it at exactly 2 miles, good Job Steve. Brannon was able to get the
results to me super fast, no complaints at all! Jim once again did a great job
with the food! Dean just looked too relaxed. Everyone should be proud of their
work today today. By the way we had 255 registered participants. I am not sure
yet how many finishers yet. This was a perfect size race!
Thanks again to everyone!
Terry

just like clockwork. Terry has this race dialed in. What I liked
about today is that we all did are thing while Terry just made sure
it was all going smoothly. When you don't have to worry about
anything but your particular duties, it is sooooo much less stressful.
Steve and crew out setting up course and in charge of that.
Jim Carson and crew setting up registration area and food
Dean and Brannon setting up finish line and results area
Lana and crew setting up day of race registration
Terry directing all crews like the conductor of an orchestra!!!!!
Thanks Bill, Peter, Brannon, (Brannon's helper???), Terry and the
entire Woodward family for helping out with the finish line. We were
a bit thin but managed.
And if I miss someone, I apologize. I know that Jim and Steve and
Lana had lots of club members in there helping out.
Dean
PS: How 'bout that Jim Carson. Early to rise to do food prep etc.
And then early to the finish line so he can get right back to
work!!! Way to go Jim!!!!!
