Did you know in 1998 this race had over 1200 runners!
We now have close to 500 people pre-registered. The advertisements for the race
are showing up in the local newspapers and with good weather we could have a
very large turnout.
For those that have volunteered THANKS. I have you on my volunteer assignment
list. For the rest we can always need more help. This is a relatively short race
and last year, with the great support we had, we were done and out of the
warehouse by 12:00. If you have not e-mailed me about volunteering please let me
know as soon as possible. We really need a confirmation for all those who plan
on helping out this year. I would like to have another meeting next Tuesday
April 3rd at 6:30 pm, at Alfy's Pizza in Burlington, to go over the race one
more time. If you can attend great, if not I will see you at the Tulip Run April
7th. Registration starts at 7:30 AM. Day of race meeting for volunteers at 7:15
am, for those of you running and have not registered yet please register early
on race day.
We still have time, If you know of a business that would like to donate for
raffle prizes please let me know and I will contact them.
The medals are in and they look great. One is hanging in the window in the Mount
Vernon FootwoRx store.
Oh Yea Don't forget the Dean's Wild 'n Woolley Ride and Race this Saturday.
