Our efforts today in conjunction with the excellent chute and timing help
provided by the B-E Tiger Track Club earned the B-E group around $350. In the
olden days we used to do ALL of the work and get a pat on the back for helping
out. Now not only do we get assistance with the finish, $$$ is provided to the
school's running program. The same will happen at Woolley on the 4th. The
track team will provided volunteers to help with the finish chute while we do
the set up and finish line results. In turn $$$ be donated to the track
club...hopefully as seed money for a new high jump pit!

Thanks again for all those that helped today and plan on helping on the 4th!
They might have twice the numbers as this morning so we will need all the help
that we can get!

Subject: Burlington Berry Dairy Days Run


Hey Members,
The run went great today. There were many Skagit Runners running and
helping. Keefer let a young buck whoop him by 1 second. It is great to see such
a large turn out. They had about 270 participants in both races. The best part
of it was the strawberry shortcake. It just doesn't get any better!
Please help me in welcoming our two newest members Janna Haupt, RD of the
Riley Run, and Kris Drake. It is great to have you both in our club. Remember
our club runs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights at FootwoRx. Please check

also receive a 10% discount at FootwoRx and Fairhaven Runners.
Sedro-Woolley Footrace is on 7/4/06. I will be there as well as Dean,
Keefer, and Stan. If anyone wants to help out I am sure we can find something

go smoothly.
