Hey Members,
The run went great today. There were many Skagit Runners running and
helping. Keefer let a young buck whoop him by 1 second. It is great to see such
a large turn out. They had about 270 participants in both races. The best part
of it was the strawberry shortcake. It just doesn't get any better!
Please help me in welcoming our two newest members Janna Haupt, RD of the
Riley Run, and Kris Drake. It is great to have you both in our club. Remember
our club runs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights at FootwoRx. Please check
out our website for run times (www.skagitsunners.org). Skagit Runner members
also receive a 10% discount at FootwoRx and Fairhaven Runners.
Sedro-Woolley Footrace is on 7/4/06. I will be there as well as Dean,
Keefer, and Stan. If anyone wants to help out I am sure we can find something
for you to do. Please email me if you plan on helping out.
As always we appreciate all your help to make sure the races in the valley
go smoothly.
