More than likely I won't make the Thursday meeting since I
am in sunny Oklahoma at this point and not sure what kind
of shape I will be in when I return later this week.
I am replying to all since I am recruiting people for both
the Berry Dairy Days Run this coming Saturday and also for
the Great Sedro-Woolley Footrace on the 4th. As everyone
knows, both of these races donate funds to the local
school running programs for us providing the finish line.
BBD gives to Burlington Cross Country who provides timers
and chute helpers and Sedro-Woolley Track and Field who
also provides timers and chute helpers. We provide the
materials and do the results which is the major
contribution in labor that we do!!! If you wish to help
at either race, we could use your help. If you are
running and want to come help tabulate results: write
down times, etc. We would appreciate it!
Thanks
Dean
PS: It is 93 and isn't even noon yet here in Oklahoma
City. Ugh............All the runners were on the road
this morning at 6:00 when I was heading to play golf!
