The Scholarship Committee met last night. After 2 1/2 hours of reading all the
applications we decided on the awardees of the Skagit Runners Scholarships. We
are however going to hold the names until the board can finalize a few other
details. We had 13 applicants and all were well deserving athletes. The
committee picked applicants based on the criteria that was set by Skagit
Runners. I think the committee did an excellent job in meeting that goal.
I will send out an email with the scholarship awardees within 10 days.
