On Saturday, May 20th, Skagit Runners will be assisting with the Bay View
Women's Run. The past two years, I have managed with finish line while being
supervised by Keefer Whan. I just checked my calendar and I am not available
that day. Hopefully Keefer will still help set up the course since he is the
only person I know that knows the course but regardless of that we will need
someone to manage the finish line.
We really only need about 3 people. They provide the timers and back up
timers. The race is low keyed enuf that we can take their bibs and staple them
right to the board so all we really need is a chute person, a stapler, and a
results recorder.
The race starts at 10 so you would need to be there around 8 to set up the
course and chute. You will be finished and packed before noon easily. A mere 4
hours of your time to help out a good cause!
Everything that you need will be at the storage shed in Burlington. Charged
clock, printing stopwaches, staplers, boards, chute materials, cones for the
course, etc.
Thanks in advance!
Dean
