Great to here from you again. I have been to the Topps site many a
time and recommend anyone who's not been to go. The problem is - it
WILL cost you money, because there will be at least one shirt you
cannot resist.
I have to admit I've no idea about boots, shirt and trcksuits of my
favourite era. It's a shame Jim Ross is not still around he always
struck me as a bit of an expert here.
I find it fascinating now, because my son's so into it all, he's
always wearing my moth-eaten 70s Leeds shirts, and loves them.
At the time I don't remember it being such a big deal. Replica shits
were not quite the same thing. Any red football shirt was a Man U
shirt, any white one a Leeds one ! We used to buy the shirt then sew
the Leeds badge and number on ourselves !
Or maybe that was just me.
