When I was growing up, the Sunday afternoon slot was the only
football highlights I was allowed to watch !

My son cannot believe there wasn't football everyday !!

We don't get Sky Sports, but the 408 Sky Sports news channel is
almost permanently on in our house, highlights and news on tap,
there's no anticpation now for Satuday and Sunday football coverage
like there used to be in my house.

I think that's what made it so special.

The website's an excellent history, I particularly appreciate the
timeline, because for some of it I was too young to remember when
things happened.

I look forward to seeing it grow
