Must admit I was expecting the run to come to an end Saturday as well. I am not
sure if the League ever operated exact mirror seasons. I seem to recall when I
first started going to Palace we used to play the same team on Good Friday and
Easter Monday. Not sure but in the early 20's I think teams used to play home
and the away to the same teams in a fortnight. This season is a bit weird we
have already played Coventry QPR & Norwich home & away, but we still haven't
played Bristol City yet and of course have just played Wolves, got a feeling
there is someone else we haven't played yet, No idea why they have arranged the
fixtures in this manner this season. I know some of the Premier teams have
played each other home & away already as well. Assume it's the same in the other
divisions. See your local side has just signed an ex Eagle - Steve Thomson from
Falkirk. Happy New year to you too. This site has gone a bit quiet recently
we'll have to try and get things moving again.

Thanks Terry, Happy New Year!!
I did well out of the Wolves game on saturday with a
pint bet with a local Wolves supporter here in
seaford. Hope we can now do the Double! BTW when did
the League abandon "mirror" halves of seasons, if in
fact they ever had that policy? Both Palace v Wolves
games are in the second half of this season.
