Um I find it hard to slate Pearcey as he's a Palace
fan at heart! Richard Littlejohn is another matter
entirely, I enjoyed slagging him off on "606" a few
years ago for being obsessed with the Premiership.
For stats you can always blame Frank Skinner and
"Statto".
Also you don't mention the betting lobby, what about
that famous Palace v West Ham game in 1994/5 where
someone pulled the plug at half-time?
I think the England team will be better off without
Lampard, will Chelsea be as well? The fate of the
"Chosen One" was sealed as soon as Ballack and Shevvy
appeared. They both reminded me of the infamous Tomas
Brolin in manner, though marginally more talented to
start with!
I have to say I always rated Gareth Barry, he was
pinched by Villa from Brighton when still a schoolboy,
I believe he played the odd game at Seaford in his
youth!
