Played for Arsenal for almost all of the 60s and for Leicester for almost
all of the 70s. Jimmy Bloomfield brought him to Filbert Street soon after
Arsenal's double success; I think he might even have been Bloomfiled's
first signing. Played in midfield and could slow down the most hectic of
games. When Bloomfield started his experiments, he even spent some time as
a sweeper!

Goal scored by Donato Nardiello? Father of Daniel who is on the books at
Old Trafford and has been playing for Barnsley this year.

Never the same player at Leicester as he had been at Coventry. And the
second ex-Leicester player that you have mentioned today who settled in the
US and has since died. Although everybody heard about Keith Weller's
passing recently, I suppose that not many will have heard that Alderson was
killed in an accident involving scaffolding on a building site - must have
been 6 or 7 years ago.
