Five of us ended up with a good ride last night.  Instead of rain we decided to get our feet wet by riding across flooded road between Middle Genesee Lake and Lower Genesee Lake.  Interestingly, the road is still flooded from the June rains.  Also interesting, the water is being pumped through about a 12” pipe line to the Bark River about 1 mile to the east.  Jan and I decided to host an impromptu burger & beer refuel at our home.

We have some more opportunities to ride Holy Hill this season before we start to run out of light so back to the hills.

Meet: Uncle Jonnies Bar in Lake Five.  From Milwaukee take Hwy 41/45 North to Hwy Q (north end of Menomonee Falls) west (about 7 miles) to Bar on the North side of Hwy Q about 0.25 miles west of Hwy Q and Hwy 164 intersections.

Let’s shoot to ride at 6pm.  Tail lights are a good idea for the rest of the season.
