70 degrees - not bad for a Monday evening in April! Just a little bit
of guess-work in how to dress as it can cool off quick and be a cold
ride back - and we have experienced that a few times. Thus, an extra
layer of clothing, a little extra sweat = no problem... Well, it was
Steve's turn for a flat. Glass near the end of the ride worked his
front tire over. Fortunately it was very close to the end of the ride
and we just walked a few minutes back to our gas-burning beasts.
Another week (maybe two) on the Glacial Drumlin and we will
hit-the-road. FYI, last year we did our first road ride on 5/10 (a
Tuesday due to bad weather on Monday) with a group out of Hartland.
Next Week (May 1st)
Ride the Glacial Drumlin from Frame Park in Waukesha. Ride Start at
6:30 pm.
To get to Frame Park:
Old Hwy 164 (now Hwy F) into Waukesha, turn left on Moreland (Hwy 18 -
lights), cross
The Fox River and take the next right into the Park.
If the weather is questionable (less than 45 degrees or rainy) give me
A call in the mid to late afternoon to find out if the ride is
cancelled.
My quotable cyclist is back at my desk

ride." Eddy Merckx
