We have increased our number of riders every week from 2 the first week
to 5 this last Monday! Perhaps an indicator of the nicer-and-nicer
weather? Let it continue! It won't be long and available light will
allow us to leave the trail and hit-the-road. But, for now same plan as
this past Monday...
Ride the Glacial Drumlin from Frame Park in Waukesha. Ride Start at
6:30 pm.
To get to Frame Park:
Old Hwy 164 (now Hwy F) into Waukesha, turn left on Moreland (Hwy 18 -
lights), cross
The Fox River and take the next right into the Park.
If the weather is questionable (less than 45 degrees or rainy) give me
A call in the mid to late afternoon to find out if the ride is
Cancelled.
FYI, so no one gets arrested and thrown in Jail (and is deprived of
Popcorn at the Chancery post-ride refuel) a trail pass is required to
ride on the Glacial Drumlin. We have never been checked, that I recall,
but I would hate to see one of our cyclist miss out on the popcorn. I
think the pass is $10-$15 and there is an unmanned (bring correct change
or check) purchase point on the trail.
