Mondays Ride (8/30)   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #170 of 539 |
What a beautiful evening for a bike ride! About of dozen of us were spoiled
with moderate temperatures, little wind, and bright sunshine last night on the
Golden Lake Route for our last road-ride of the season. We are now planning to
finish out the season on the Glacial Drumlin Trail out of Waukesha. Last year
we rode here until the third Monday of October (the 20th). Will hope for the
same or more this year, so, plenty of possible Monday rides remaining.

Last nights good weather also provide for a good photo-shoot as provided by Kit
Stillwell. Kit stayed with us for the bulk of the ride on his motorcycle and
took plenty of action photos by riding ahead and stopping to take shots as we
approached. It will be nice to have these for future promotions and good
memories. Thanks much Kit! Kit is planning to get us a page in the next news
letter and to provide me with a photo CD of which we can burn copies for those
interested.

Next Week - Labor Day Monday 9/6 No Ride but will Ride Tuesday 9/7

Meet Time: 6pm, Ride Time 6:15pm
