First off - Lance takes today's Mountain Stage in a "down to the wire" finish
with Ullrich and Basso! Avg. speed just under 24mph in this 112 mile mountain
stage (of which 30 miles is category ascent)! Tommorow's stage a Individual
Time Trial up L'ALPE D'HUEZ (8.5 miles at 7.9% grade).
Getting back to our regular programming, about ten of us enjoyed our local-hills
last night on our Holy Hill Ride. We had a mixed group of riding abilities
ranging from about 15-20 mph average speed over a ride distance of 15-25 miles.
A nice suprise as a friend of Bob (Superweek Racer-Tom) joined us.
Group decision is to do this ride again next week....

Meet: Roadside Bar in Lake Five. From Milwaukee take Hwy 41/45 North to HwyQ
(north end of Menomonee Falls) west (about 7 miles) to Roadside Bar on the North
side of Hwy Q.

Time: Meet 6:15, Ride 6:30
