Mondays Ride

Last night we finally had a nice WARM ride. I think we had a total of 10 riders
with a few in the front-pack a few in the middle-pack and a few back-pack. Bob
may have set a new Monday-night distance record at 36miles due to a loss of
direction where the route temporarily leaves the map. Fortunately he made it
back before it was extremely dark while Steve and I took a van ride to look for
him. We are now taking donations for a GPS unit (with light) for Bob :))))))))
Great job on the distance Bob! The rest of us rode distances ranging from 11
miles to 26 miles. Of course the pace is on the increase with a max of a
19-20mph average last night. Good drink, food and BSing was enjoyed during our
post ride refueling at the Nashotah Club House.

Some items to note:
A few of us are considering a Citizens 20k (12.4mile) Time Trial August 28th in
Cottage Grove Wi. (just east of Madison).
George is working out the details for a weekend getaway bike ride in Shawano on
the Mountain Bay Bike Trail. Proposed for weekend of October 2nd.
Watch for further details on both!!

Next Monday, same as the last

Meet: Red Circle Inn Parking Lot, Nashotah

Directions: From Milwaukee, I-94 west to Hwy 16 west to Hwy C (about 10
miles, next exit after Hwy 83) south to Red Circle Inn (south west corner of
the stop sign intersection).

Time: Meet 6:15, ride 6:30
