I'm looking for a place that may be able to show the UND vs. Ferris
St. regional hockey game on Friday, March 28th and possibly Saturday,
March 29th.  Does anyone know of any alumni in the NY area that may
be gathering?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Does Sioux Jersey rhymes with New Jersey?  Isn't a hockey jersey more
properly called a "sweater"?  What would the Canadians / Canadiens call
it?

Loney Baloney sounds like the man.  I've also seen ads at uscho.com (us
college hockey online).  Once at the website just click on WCHA and UND
and the jersey ad will pop up on the right.  That seems to be true for
all D-I teams.  I can't vouch for the authenticity of the apparel and
accessories.

uscho.com is also a great source for polls, pair-wise rankings "PWR",
KRACH (Ken's Ratings for American College Hockey, Ken Butler), and RPI
(Ratings Percentage Index).  You can get to these by clicking on Polls
/ Rankings.  It's a great site.  Good luck.

WDAZ  tv station in Grand Forks has been advertising all week that they will be
carrying the games on TV as well as on their internet site both nights.  Try
clicking on to www.wdaz.com and going to a link to the live broadcast during
game time.  You should be able to watch it on the internet that way.  Good luck
and GO SIOUX!!  this weekend is HUGE!!!

The Sioux will be beating the Gophers (AGAIN!) this coming Saturday Night.  This year's drubbing will begin at 7:05 pm according to the information I have found.  the game is televised on Fox Sports North.  If anyone from Dallas receives this, and has AT&T Digital Cable, this should be on one of the Digital Fox Sports Net Channels.

Check out http://www.undalumni.org

You'll find links to streaming audio for Sioux games as well as
coordinates if you have a big dish capable of setting coordinates.

MSC is now FOXN, and you can pick it up as well as several other FOX
stations that carry college hockey as part of the Directtv Sports
Pak.

FOXN still shows many Gopher games, including one of the Sioux games
next weekend. FXRM (Rocky Mountain) shows some Denver or CC games,
FXNE shows Boston U and other HE games. FOXNa shows Wisco games, and
so on.

New this year, Midcontinent communications carries Sioux Hockey games in
many markets in NoDak, SoDak, and Minnesota.  I'm getting the games in
Sioux Falls, SD.  One broadcast mentioned an email from a couple in
Mesa, AZ that claimed to watch every game.  I think a large,
conventional satellite dish would work to get the WDAZ (Fighting Sioux
Network) broadcast.  FYI, MSC is now Fox Sports North, and they carry a
few gopher hockey games but not Sioux games.  As far as I know, neither
direct TV or dish has any plans to offer local channels for a small
market like GF, ND.

I am not sure if you can get the games in your area on cable but two of the web sites have the games www.XL93.com and www.siouxhockey.com hope this helps

My husband and I are experiencing the same problem here in Missouri.  We too have Direct TV and can't get the season games.  I've looked and looked at the channels Direct Tv offers and no where does it mention MSC channel or the availability to pick up the GF local channels for extra money.  We did have Dish Network and they offered MSC but we never subscribed to it because you had to purchase it with a ton of other Fox sports channels that repeated everything.  We no longer have Dish as we had trouble with them and switched.  I've heard rumor that Dish and Direct are to merge or are in the process of merging, maybe when that is complete us Direct Tv subscribers will have the option of getting MSC at least.

Can't help you with the tv part.. but this is the link for radio.  If you can't get online with this, (sometimes it's too busy) try USCHO.com and look for the site of the team the Sioux are playing,, they usually have a broadcast link as well.

and hockey, they have a link to listen to the games
over the net. Can'thelp ya with any of the DTV info
tho :)
