Death of Ralph Engelstad   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #624 of 1018 |
I am shocked and saddened by the death of Ralph Engelstad. Our
sympathy and prayers to his family and to the many, many friends he
had. He was compassionate and loved his aluma mater. I had a brief
encounter with him(thru the alumni office) and the fact that his
willingness to help someone was unmatched. That encounter a few
years back gave me great insight into this man. He was still a guy
from Thief River Falls, MN. I hope this will finally put an end to
the undying fight over the Fighting Sioux logo and name. It is
something to be proud of and I am so fed up with the discussion that
I could
scream. This world is going down the toilet quickly with the
extremists...Just get on with life..and don't worry about things that
don't matter. I'll scream Go Sioux! At least there is a school that
doesn't
need to be told to wear their school colors(NDSU)...attend UND
sporting events and check it out. Again, our sympathy to the
Engelstad family. T and A Dolan
