I too am seeing lots of new schools. Before they were TKD or a freestyle karate.
Now as you mentioned, they are MMA with jujutsu and boxing. Unlike your
situation, I haven't seen anything else.
I started wondering if I was going to get new students with this new fad. Too
much traditional training for the MMA sport I thought. Well, the increase in
numbers last month helped me feel better. There are those who still want to
learn the art, not just how to win a competitive sport.
