master's dojo since that is rude and disrespectful. Rather find your
own new students -- this act honors your teachers.
Find a location that can handle your regular schedule, both in
instruction space and traffic/parking space. Use flyers to gather your
first few and then have your students help you find others.
Get a business license and follow the rules of running a business in
your area. That may include sales taxes, insurance and zoning. When
you get big enough to need help, get it. That's been my mistake
countless times before. A "one man show" soon falters.
Most importantly, learn how to be a great teacher. Knowing kempo does
not make you an instantly great teacher. Teaching is an art form unto
itself.
