Re: [Shaolin Kempo] starting a school

you have hopefully discussed this with your teacher.
you have dedicated a lot of time and effort in the martial arts and have succeeded in becoming at least a good martial artist.  Remember to put the same energy and focus in becoming a succeessful business owner.
do not grow too quickly
marketing is extremely important
Remember in order to teach those few dedicated martial artrist who will over time show up you need your school to be paying you.  Otherwise look into teaching out of a garage
make sure rent is lower than you think it needs to be
keep being a student

some thoughts
respectfully,
Marlon

good morning I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I am planning to take on some students of my own... away from my masters dojo. I was hopeing you could share some of your experiences.... the best way you think to start, your own mistakes, important things to remember.

thanks all

Forever a student.
Study, practice and share what you have:  This is the way of mastery...and have fun along the way.
If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest most powerful being in all the worlds!
